Gang Sheet or DTF Transfers by Size: Which One Should You Order?
Both options print your own artwork on the same DTF film with the same inks. The difference is how you pay and what arrives at your door, and that decides which one is cheaper for your order.
What is the difference between a gang sheet and transfers by size?
With custom DTF transfers by size, you upload a design, choose the print size and quantity, and we ship each transfer already cut and ready to press. With a gang sheet, you place many designs on one 22-inch wide sheet, pay for the sheet by its length, and cut the designs apart yourself.

When are DTF transfers by size the better choice?
Choose transfers by size when you need many copies of one design, such as 40 team shirts with the same front logo. The price drops automatically in the cart as the quantity of the same design and size grows:
- 5 to 10 pieces: 10% off
- 11 to 20 pieces: 20% off
- 21 to 50 pieces: 35% off
- 51 to 75 pieces: 45% off
- 76 to 150 pieces: 55% off
- 151 pieces or more: 65% off
There is no code to enter. Transfers by size also save time on press day, because every piece arrives cut and you skip the trimming.
When is a gang sheet the better choice?
Choose a gang sheet when you have many different designs and only need one or a few of each, for example a sample run of 15 new designs, name and number sets, or a mix of left-chest logos and sleeve prints. You pay only for the length of the sheet, so a design that fills a small corner costs almost nothing extra.
Gang sheets start at $7.20 for a 22" x 20" sheet, and a 22" x 30" sheet is $11.99. The product page shows the price for every length.
Gang Sheet Builder or Upload Gang Sheet: which one should I use?
Both give you the same uncut sheet at the same price. The Gang Sheet Builder is an online layout tool: upload your PNG files, drag them onto the sheet and resize them, with a live preview before you buy. It works well if you do not have design software.
Upload DTF Gang Sheets is for people who already build their layout in Photoshop, Illustrator or Affinity. Upload one finished PNG at 22 inches wide. Experienced designers can nest designs tighter than a drag-and-drop tool allows, which shortens the sheet and lowers the price.
How do I keep a gang sheet short?
The sheet is priced by length, so every inch you save lowers the price.
- Trim the empty space around each design before you upload it.
- Rotate tall designs to fill gaps next to wide ones.
- Put small prints such as left-chest logos and sleeve text into the spaces between large prints.
- Leave a small gap between designs so they are easy to cut apart.
What file should I send for either option?
A PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI, at the size you want to print. For transfers by size, upload the single design. For an uploaded gang sheet, upload one PNG that is exactly 22 inches wide. Our team checks every file before printing and contacts you if something needs fixing.

No. You can order a single transfer or a single sheet.
Do quantity discounts apply to gang sheets?
No. Quantity discounts apply only to custom DTF transfers by size. Gang sheets are priced by sheet length.
Can I mix both in one order?
Yes. Many customers order their best-selling design by size and put one-off designs on a gang sheet in the same cart.
